Abstract:Traditional hydraulic turbine selection methods struggle to fully meet the requirements of hydropower stations under varying operating conditions, so the hydraulic turbine selection is studied taking a certain hydropower station for example. Firstly, a comparative analysis based on the basic data of this hydropower station is carried out, and several schemes for unit selection are preliminarily proposed. And then, a detailed comparisons are carried out in terms of type, model and quantity. Finally, the most suitable unit selection scheme for this hydropower station is determined after comprehensively considering economic efficiency, maintenance convenience, and long-term operational adaptability.
