Abstract:As the maturity of material technology increases, composite materials are gradually increasing in the application of transmission line tower engineering. According to the analysis of the earthquake disaster situation in a certain area from 2008 to 2017, statistical analysis was carried out on the damage of transmission lines caused by earthquakes. The damage distribution of transmission lines in high-intensity earthquake areas is discussed. By comprehensively considering the influence weight of three indicators (ground acceleration, slope steepness, and distance from the epicenter), the area was divided into three zoning schemes. After analysis, it was found that using the weighted comprehensive method to analyze the earthquake damage zoning of transmission lines is feasible, and the zoning scheme determined by the weighted factor of three indicators can better reflect the adverse geological conditions of the foundation of the transmission line tower. This method can also be used for the earthquake zoning assessment of transmission lines in areas where historical earthquake data is lacking, so as to provide a reference for the seismic design of transmission lines in similar areas.
