A " jumping" accident of circuit － breaker is analyzed，that is，the circuit － breaker is closed immediately after tripping caused by the incorrect measures of cancelling the anti － jumping function of operation panel． After repeated tests and experiments on the operation panel whose anti － jumping function is cancelled，the repeated deduction and analysis are carried out for the action logic of operating circuit，the root cause of the accident is found out，and the reasonable improvement suggestions are proposed．
