Abstract:It focuses on the strong excitation ability of superposition strong excitation system for synchronous generator,and a simulation model of superposition strong excitation system is established,which is compared with the traditional self - shunt excitation system. Then the model of 35 kV cable transmission line with the superposition strong excitation system is constructed for the synchronous generator. The simulation result shows that the superposition strong excitation system is better than the traditional one under the forced excitation,and there is not any over - voltage influence on the cable insulation.
